• Vertical integration – lifetime immunization record.

• Horizontal integration – incorporate with other health tracking for a subset of population.

• Provider-oriented (services performed by pediatricians, family practice, geriatricians, etc.).

• Disease oriented: integration with other disease surveillance, especially communicable disease, and emerging infections and electronic laboratory systems. Also might be an implementation under the Bioterrorism grants.
